In this infographic, we analyse concussion-related incidents reported to the national incident dataset from September 2018 until January 2026.
The three most common activities where concussion-related incidents occurred were bushwalking (n = 21), campsite (n = 14), and down time (n = 11). The top three contributory factors for concussion-related incidents were participant – decisions (n = 31), environment – terrain (n = 22), and participant – experience (n = 15).
