All data submitted to the National Incident Dataset (NID) is de-identified.

To protect the identity of UPLOADS Users, data submitted to the NID does not contain any identifiable information.  This means that people’s names, organisation names, and locations are removed from all incident reports, participation data or PriMe action plans when they are submitted to the NID.

Specifically, the following fields are not submitted to the NID.

  • Incident Report Form:
    • Location of the incident
    • Name of the person injured, ill, missing etc.
  • Participation Data:
    • Job ID / Program Name.
  • PriMe Action Plans:
    • The names of users who have been allocated to implement or monitor the plan.
  • Custom Fields that have been added by your UPLOADS Administrator to collect information specific to your organisation.

Please note that the research team reviews all NID Data and removes any identifying information that has been accidentally entered.  This is to ensure the privacy and confidentiality of the data.
